Resistance: Fall of Man gets early update

The PS3's most popular title, Resistance: Fall of Man received an update today ahead of schedule. The update does not include any new maps, but does introduce two new multi-player modes: Team Conversion and Team Assault. Another new feature with the update is the much needed Round Balancing...if the number of players on each team is uneven at the end of the round, players will be moved from the team with too many players to the team with too few players. During the swap parties will not be separated, so there's no guarantee of perfectly balanced teams. The update is available now via download from the Playstation Store.
As arguably the only AAA title currently on the platform, it is imperative that Sony supports R:FOM to the fullest...this is just the first step.

The next R:FOM update is expected in May, and will include two new maps.
